What a lovely place! Nostalgic and good food! About 30-minutes drive from Greenwood State Park.

Absolutely a wonderful experience! We had the best fried pork chops (really tender, moist and easy to cut) & fried catfish. My wife had the pork chops with Succotash & mashed potatoes & brown gravy. I had the fried catfish filet w/fries, cole slaw & hush puppies. My catfish was the best I've had in a longtime. We both cleaned our plates. The restuarant is a rustic diner and takes you back to Mayberry NC days. We are already talking about going back next weekend to try some of the other menu items - like the meatloaf! Chef Matthew, you are doing a wonderful job! Keep the tasty food coming! Great Friday experience.

Most delicious southern cooked food. Best sweet tea , the power even went out and the cook got us a light and they finished our food. There country fried steak was so tender, they didn’t even charge us for our meal due to the power going out. And our waitress was outstanding . Thank you guys for your southern hospitality!

Great place ! We had cheeseburgers and fries. It was one of best cheeseburgers I’ve had in a long time! The people were very nice and friendly like they knew us forever!!

Really great friendly diner. They have a pretty good menu with sandwiches, salads, full meals, and lots of sides to choose from. I had the fried chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it, but the best part was definitely the apple pie for dessert. It was one of the best restaurant desserts I’ve had in a while. Definitely recommend coming by!

The food was wonderful. Service was exceptional. My fiance left his wallet when we had lunch. I went back and everything was in it plus the owner was desperately trying to get in touch with us via the business cards inside. I'll eat here every time I go to the lake.

I had the country dinner, my friend had the hamburger . Collards and fried okra better than any. Will definitely stop again.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this diner! We stopped here on a whim, driving home from Georgia. My husband said it was the best food he's had our entire vacation. Do not skip out on the Blackberry Walnut Wine Dessert!!! I could have eaten the whole pan of it!
